I have now started messing about with adding plugins to the site and am coming up with problems. I managed to get an image plugin which seems to work fairly well. Mavik Thumbnails is the name of the plugin. Basically, it makes a thumbnail image clickable, displaying the full sized image.

So, you add the image to your story and resize it to the size of thumbnail you want. This triggers a Mavik to make that image clickable, displaying the full size image. Simple.

I have also installed a plugin to make the 'Read more' button appear after 250 letters (I think). Anyway, you do need to make sure that the image is below the 'Read more' otherwise it is not clickable and also it is scaled by the html - not good. More research needed, or perhaps a different plugin.

So, to the point of this entry. I also installed 'J-comments'. This does what you'd expect - adds comments to the bottom of a story. The trouble is it seems to remove the auto 'Read more' on the home and blog pages. Hmmm. Need to look into this a little more. I don't think that I will be needing comments on every story I publish, but it would be nice to get it right should I need to use it.

Anyway, that's enough sitting-infront-of-the-computer time today. Out.

Curiously ive had the same trouble. However, i did find that if you can find the gripe sprocket that sits just below the grommit flange and just give it a little tweak, that seems to help!
